People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.
Maya Angelou
I’m a qualified Executive Coach. As founder of Collaborative.org I had a varied career in Human Resource Management spanning over 20 years working with individuals at all levels from newly appointed managers to board level directors. Working in the high technology and communications field I developed a keen interest in communication and the problems which arise through mixed messages and misunderstanding.
I trained as an executive coach in 2007 and founded Collaborative.org. I have combined this with part-time lecturing in a range of topics associated with the psychology of individuals in the workplace and the involvement of strategic HRM in organisations. I continue to work with HR professionals via the CIPD mentoring programme and maintain my professional HR involvement working in the third sector. I’m Chair of a women’s charity and a Trustee of a disability charity. I have regular supervision for coaching and am active with my own CPD.
I work with people who often want to change or develop some aspect of their lives. This could be to change a feeling of being stuck or unsure of what to do; to increase self-confidence or to stop recurring patterns of behaviour causing conflict with colleagues, friends or family. You can create healthy new habits in both your personal and professional life. By removing your limiting beliefs, you can gain clarity and new focus helping you to move forward.
I have an MA in Human Resource Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Guidance for Adults. I’m an accredited Executive Coach with ILM, Chartered Fellow of CIPD, Member of Institute of Leadership and Management, Association of Coaches and Association of NLP
I live and work in Bedfordshire and offer 1:1 sessions on line (via Skype, Zoom etc) and via the phone.
